How it works

Family Wealth Safeguard is a Windows desktop application. Here is how everything works, from purchase to a complete picture of your family's finances.

Step 1 — Purchase

Click any buy button on the site. You'll be taken to a standard checkout. No account required. Pay by card.

Step 2 — Instant delivery

The moment your order is confirmed, you'll receive an email with two things: a unique download link for the installer file, and a unique licence key. Delivery is automatic — there is no waiting and no manual preparation on our side.

Step 3 — Install

Download the installer from the link in your email and run it. The app installs in under a minute. No subscription required. No account. No ongoing costs.

Step 4 — First-run setup

The first time you open the app, you'll be asked to create a passphrase. This encrypts your data on your device using AES-256-GCM. Choose something memorable — there is no recovery mechanism. Once you've set your passphrase, you'll enter your licence key to activate the app.

Step 5 — Enter your family's data

The app walks you through every section. Start with your family name and base currency, then work through your assets one by one. The Master Dashboard updates automatically as you add data. Most families complete their initial data entry in a single session of two to four hours.

Step 6 — Your complete financial picture

Once your data is in, you'll have your family's total net worth (true net realisable value, after all costs and taxes), Mobility Index, 12-month cashflow forecast, Risk Action Plan, and a complete Red Folder ready to export as a printable HTML document. Your Executor Pack — a six-section A4 PDF for whoever needs to act on your behalf — is also ready to generate at any time.

Keeping it up to date

We suggest reviewing your data quarterly for the first year, then annually. Major changes — new assets, a property sold, a change in base currency — can be updated at any time. Everything recalculates automatically.

Your data security

Your data never leaves your device. The app runs entirely offline. Nothing is transmitted to any server. Your financial information is encrypted with AES-256-GCM and accessible only with your passphrase. We have no access to your data at any point.
